iPhone 5 release date rumors and news about features, specs concept designs, and pictures have been a hot topic lately. No one really knows when the real launch date for the highly anticipated Apple smartphone will be, but most people feel the handset will arrive late Summer 2012.
One of the latest rumors to pop up in online news shows a part order which some tech junkies feel changes the design of the iPhone 5 from what most analysts, designers, and Apple groupies had thought it would be.
Apparently the leaked SIM card tray is nearly an exact match to the current model SIM tray, which leads to speculation that the iPhone 5 design may keep the same flat sides found on the 4S. The iPhone 5 release date and design rumor talks about parts which have leaked from suppliers and resellers. An online source claims one of the parts is the iPhone 5 SIM card tray. How would this change the design of the 6th generation Apple smartphone model?
Of course Apple keeps all information about upcoming launches hidden away until the time comes for the big unveiling, so no one really knows what can be expected when the iPhone 5 release date finally arrives. Except of course that the world will have a new Apple smartphone, hopefully in 2012.
What do you think about the SIM card part leak rumor? Does it really hint at a similar smartphone design to what consumers already have? Will it matter?
